Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid.
The Defense Logistics Agency is the Department of Defense's largest logistics combat support agency, providing worldwide logistics support in both peacetime and wartime to the military services. This sources sought is a market research tool being utilized for informational and planning purposes.
The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of potential vendors who can provide a full range of supplies and incidental services in support of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) requirements throughout the Pacific Region:
Pacific Region Zone 1: Japan, Okinawa, Singapore, Diego Garcia, the Philippines, and Thailand
Pacific Region Zone 2: The Republic of Korea (South Korea)
Vendors under this program are referred to as Tailored Logistics Support Prime Vendors (TLS PVs). A TLS PV is a supplier under an indefinite delivery contract which manages numerous delivery orders for a variety of products within a specific industry/sector and provides advanced distribution capabilities.
Typical items associated with the maintenance, repair, and operations of a facility that are managed under the MRO program include, but are not limited to:
Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) supplies;
Plumbing supplies (including bath and shower items and ablution units);
Electrical products (including generators, wire/cable, connectors, sockets, outlets, lights, etc.);
Tools of various kinds;
Chemical, lubricating, and rubber products and products including the same;
Construction supplies (including, but not limited to, cement, lumber, plywood, bricks, blocks, steel, aluminum, metal products, and conduits);
Pre-fabricated structures to include re-locatable buildings (RLBs);
Perimeter security items, such as barriers, barbed wire, concertina wire, and sand bags;
Communication devices, such as walkie-talkies and two-way radios, used by the maintenance personnel;
Appliances (excluding food service equipment);
Janitorial and sanitation products;
Various other commercial supplies required by the war-fighters to accomplish their mission as it relates to facilities maintenance or sustainment; AND
Incidental commercial, facilities maintenance services.
Note: Items managed under the MRO program are categorized as commercial or modified commercial items
Interested vendors are encouraged to submit a statement of their capabilities (Capability Statement) and identify the products and services that could meet the requirements of the MRO program. Responses to this sources sought market survey should include supporting documents that discuss your company's competence, experience, and overall understanding of the requirements that DLA Troop Support has identified.
The Capability Statement shall not exceed three pages and include the following information: company name, business size, cage code, address, point of contact, email address, and phone number. Responses must be submitted by email to Lauren Vendetti at Lauren.Vendetti@dla.mil and Thomas Pace at Thomas.Pace@dla.mil by 3:00 PM ET on April 1, 2025 and include in the subject field the title "MRO Pacific Region – Sources Sought.”
This notice shall not be construed as an RFP or as any commitment or obligation on the part of the Government. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. Response is strictly voluntary - it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in any RFP process that may take place in the future. This is strictly market research. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the Sources Sought. We appreciate your interest and thank you in advance for responding to the Sources Sought.
