Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN). This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the Government to award a contract. Responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
The Government is seeking information solely for the purpose of market research for the items listed below. Vendors may also provide information on similar items. Vendors are also requested to provide pertinent characteristics and to address any concerns related to shipping to Korea.
a. TFBS-030507-S-00-SYS: Shield Enclosure Air Frame TFBS-4-System
Dimensions & Space Requirements:
The system must have interior dimensions of 3.5 feet wide by 5 feet deep and 7 feet tall to ensure proper fit within an 8-foot ceiling height.
Electromagnetic Shielding & Attenuation:
The system must provide an average attenuation of 105 dB across a frequency range of 30 MHz to 20 GHz, including all components such as power and signal filters. All signal filters must include dielectric breaks and convert copper to fiber optics and back to copper to enhance security in high-threat environments.
Frame & Inflation System:
The enclosure must be inflatable, with no metal or PVC framing to ensure portability and ease of deployment. The inflation system must not require constant airflow but include a backup pump that automatically inflates the frame if PSI levels drop below operational thresholds.
Portability & Rapid Deployment:
The system must be rugged and lightweight for operational flexibility. A single person must be able to set up the system within 10 minutes without requiring additional tools or support.
Power Requirements:
The system must support automatic dual-voltage operation (90-240 VAC) for global deployment without requiring external converters.
Integrated Features:
The system must include a built-in lighting system for visibility in low-light environments. A table must be included as part of the complete system to facilitate operational use.
Transportability & Storage:
The entire system must be packaged in two airline-checkable cases, with each case weighing less than 70 lbs. for ease of transport.
