    This is a request for information (RFI) only. This is not an invitation for bids (IFB), request for quotations (RFQ), or request for proposals (RFP). This notice is published in accordance with FAR Parts 10.002 and 15.201 in support of market research. No award is intended as a result of this request as the Government has no intention to pay for information received. This RFI seeks information on industry’s capability to conduct and coordinate fielding and new equipment training on Joint Expeditionary Collective Protection (JECP), which is a Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) family of systems utilized by the U.S. Army, to include U.S. Forces Korea.  Additionally in conjunction with the fielding and new equipment training, retroactive backfit production upgrades for hardware and system subcomponents will be completed, requiring system maintenance and upgrade installation capabilities as well.   


    POTENTIAL PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 18-27 June 2025 Republic of Korea


    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:


    A security background check is required for access to government facilities


    Interested firms who believe they are capable of providing the above mentioned services are invited to indicate their interest by providing:


    Company name, company address, overnight delivery address (if different from mailing address, Cage Code, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number).

    Business size (i.e. large, small disadvantaged, veteran owned, woman owned, etc.)

    A description of the company’s subject matter expertise in the design and functionality of the CBRND JECP family of systems.

    Description of company’s capability for fielding, new equipment training, upgrade installation, maintenance, and technical expertise for the CBRND JECP family of systems.    

    The responses to this RFI shall be unclassified. All assumptions, including any assumed Government support and Government-Furnished Property (GFP) that the firm would require to execute the work, shall be clearly identified. All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly marked.


    This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an IFB, RFQ, or RFP.  Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any supplies or services described in this RFI.  Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider.  You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI.  This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract.  No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort.  The information provided may be used by the Army for planning and market research purposes. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response.


    The Government will not reimburse contractors or responders to this notice for any costs incurred in responding, or any subsequent exchange of information. All responses shall be no longer than five (5) pages and transmitted electronically to both Contracting Officer, Samantha Degele, at e-mail samantha.l.degele.civ@army.mil and Contract Specialist, Emily McGill, at e-mail emily.c.mcgill.civ@army.mil, no later than 5 p.m. EDT on 29 May 2025.  No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. Responses will not be returned nor will be considered by the Government as offers.

    본 RFI는 미 육군(주한미군 포함)에서 운용하는 화학, 생물, 방사선 및 핵 방어를 위한 합동 프로그램 집행 사무소(JPEO-CBRND)인 합동 원정 집단방위(JECP)에 대한 야전 배치 및 신규 장비 훈련을 실시하고 조정할 수 있는 업계 역량에 대한 정보를 요청합니다. 야전 배치 및 신규 장비 훈련과 더불어, 하드웨어 및 시스템 하위 구성품에 대한 소급적 사후 생산 업그레이드도 완료될 예정이며, 이를 위해서는 시스템 유지보수 및 업그레이드 설치 역량이 요구됩니다.

    수행 예정 기간: 2025년 6월 18일~27일 (대한민국)
